MINISTRY PARTNERS
The Shepherd Project considers local partnerships to be its primary ministry today. While we have hopes to expand work in new areas, we feel strongly about supporting those already in place doing the work. Today we support 3 men who have a heart for Jesus and a heart for Shepherd communities. Read below to learn more about our partners. Their work is diverse, but all share the same focus of showing Christ's love and making Him known.
Khotalo
Khotalo's heart for Lesotho's Shepherd community goes back to when he was one as a young man. He was a key member of the first Shepherd Bible story crafting team, and he continues to primarily serve as a Bible story crafter alongside an Africa Inland Mission team. He, his wife Tsaone, and their daughter Hloni live and serve near 'Moteng, in Butha Buthe District.
Siphiwe
Siphiwe and his wife, 'Me Makatleho, live and serve in Sani Top. There, they pastor the Sani Top Church, a unique church in Lesotho. At Sani Top church all are welcome, and many shepherds join the congregation on Sundays. Throughout the week, Siphiwe visits shepherds in their nearby huts to bring them the Good News, and also welcomes them into his home. Recently, he hosted a number of new Shepherd believers in a first-ever Bible teaching workshop!
